Notice 06-29-2026 : Absentee ballots for the August Partisan Primary can be requested online by going to myvotewi.gov. In-person absentee will start 28th of July and go until the 6th of August at noon. Please contact the clerk at 608-938-1154 for an appointment at the Town Hall @ N6975 Marshall Bluff Road, Monticello. a photo ID will be required.
In April 2025, the Town of Mount Pleasant purchased 5 acres and a building on Marshall Bluff Road. The building was formerly an Amish schoolhouse and will be remodeled to become the Town Hall. A new Town Garage will be built on the property in the future.
We are preparing to move into the offices at the new Town Hall at N6975 Marshall Bluff Road, Monticello. The board approved moving meetings and elections to this building at the January Board meeting. The next step is to have a Meeting of the Town Electors to approve building a new Town garage on this site. And the recycling bins will be moving here also.
